The task of this project was to create the branding and identity for a UNESCO World Heritage site of our choice. The Great Barrier Reef is a site that has always captivated me, and one that I've been yearning to visit for years. The choice was a no-brainer. Below is the identity I designed for the Great Barrier Reef, complete with print, digital, and environmental sign designs.
Identity guide including typography, logo, colors, elements, and more.
Print material including letterhead, envelope, business card, and quick facts info sheet.
A set of three ads designed to advertise an exhibition of photos of the Great Barrier Reef. Ads designed with specs from the New Yorker.
Part of our task was designing a 3D site sign that would be located at our site, with information translated into six languages. This is a half inch model of the environment sign I designed, constructed with vellum paper to resemble frosted glass. Click here to view a larger scale PDF of the site sign.
The booklet designed is a do-si-do book filled with beautiful photos. From one side it tells the story of the Great Barrier Reef. From the other it tells the history of UNESCO World Heritage.

The sign is designed to be placed on piers and jetties along the northeast coast of Australia in cities that are tourist hubs of the reef, such as Cairns.
